Annual billing charges ten months for twelve. INR is billed through Razorpay; Bitcoin is billed through BTCPay Server in fixed terms of 1, 3, 6 or 12 months.
Questions people actually ask
- What counts as a site?
- A physical facility with its own power rate. Two buildings on one tariff can be one site; two facilities paying different rates should be two, because the power rate is what turns a payout into a profit or a loss.
- What happens if I go over the machine limit?
- You cannot add more machines until you upgrade. Nothing is hidden, deleted or switched off — everything you already have stays visible and exportable. JouleBook degrades to read-only rather than locking you out.
- Do you hold my keys?
- No. JouleBook never holds a wallet key or a withdrawal credential. Pool API keys are read-only, encrypted at rest, and never shown again — not to you, not to support, not masked or on request.
- Does my pool API key need to be read-only?
- Yes, and it should be. JouleBook only reads payout history. It cannot place an order, change a payout address or switch a pool, and it never writes to a mining machine.
- Can I export everything and leave?
- Yes, always — on every plan, including free and lapsed accounts. CSV, XLSX, a QuickBooks journal and an India Schedule VDA sheet. Export is never gated behind a payment.
- What is the refund policy?
- Seven days, no questions, on a first payment. If JouleBook is not useful in the first week it is not going to be, and making you argue about it would be a worse outcome for both of us.
- Can I pay in Bitcoin?
- Yes, through a self-hosted BTCPay Server, on-chain or over Lightning. Bitcoin cannot pull a recurring payment, so it is sold in fixed terms of 1, 3, 6 or 12 months with a reminder before expiry.
